Madferrrit

It’s finally happened and all it took was a messy divorce. Oasis are back. Dads will be Lads once again as we reminisce on Cool Britannia, sarongs and funeral etiquette.

Ok, as the kids say: this is not a drill

It’s happening: the Greatest Rock and Roll band ever (from the 1990s) are back. They’ve buried the hatchet, bygones are bygones.

But now it’s time for a bunch of blokes who should know better to take on unnecessary financial burdens, put on really big coats whatever the weather and grow out their hair, often with mixed results.

“When Man City were, really, actually Man City. When David Beckham was larping about in a sarong. When you could go to a funeral in a Castrol GTX jacket.”

You see I was there, man

When it all kicked-off. I had the best Manc accent in the Swindon office and I had the strut down pat, sweeping into sales meetings like this.

I was #madforit. It was #biblical.

Great days. To be honest seeing them come back has got me thinking about more simple times.

When Man City were, really, actually Man City.

When David Beckham was larping about in a sarong.
When you could go to a funeral in a Castrol GTX jacket.

I mean look at it this way: you’ll probably get dynamically priced out of the Oasis fun and can’t get tickets. It’s probably cheaper to book a flight to Benidorm to see this fella. Right, I better leg it, I’m on dinner – should that be tea? – duty.
